What It’s All About
You’ve got these friends. They’re not from around here, but they visited one afternoon years ago and now they think they get how things work in Chattanooga. There’s the aquarium, that kids’ museum, and a little tune about a train. Every once in a while, they’ll turn to you and ask: “What’s the name of that song again? Something about a ChooChoo, right?” This is how they know Chattanooga.
But you know better.
You know that on any given day, this city is filled with people and events worth documenting. Chattanoogans work hard to make this town more than its constituent parts and it’s time to showcase our efforts.
ChattanoogaWorks is a movement to get you talking about the people, places, and events that make this town tick. As locals, you know best what makes this town work, really work, for everyone here. Add your own photo-documentaries to our gallery. Show us something surprising or something typical, something abstract or something concrete. Show us works of art, works of strength or just pieces of work in your community. And we'll all celebrate them.
